EVENT NAME: Strength to Stand Youth Conference
EVENT DATE: December 28th-30th
EVENT TIMES: 6am Sunday - 7pm Tuesday
EVENT LOCATION: Leconte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN
EVENT COST: $160 per student
EVENT SIGN-UP LINK: https://mycatalystchurch.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/2999290
EVENT DETAILS: Strength to Stand (STS) is an amazing 3 day youth conference located in Pigeon Forge, TN. This is during winter break for the students, so no worries about missing any school. As STS sets us up in a hotel for the weekend, we will stay in several hotel rooms with a Fusion youth adult volunteer in every room.
Strength to Stand is a life changing conference that our youth group has attended for the last several years. The students have a chance to be in an environment where thousands of students get to come together with one purpose in mind, and that purpose is Jesus. From hearing and learning from some fantastic speakers about Jesus, and our faith in Him, to worshiping together with the STS worship band, and getting to see some popular Christian artists/bands in concert, this conference is a great experience for students.
STS Theme for this years Conference is called "At the Altar".
"At the Altar," speaks directly to the challenges students face today—a culture that often promotes self-interest, personal success, and instant gratification. In contrast, the altar represents a place of surrender, where we lay down our sins, distractions, and personal ambitions to pursue something greater: God’s purpose for our lives. In a world pulling us in every direction, we seek to call a generation back to a place of devotion and sacrifice, just as Jesus gave Himself fully for us. "At the Altar" is a call to live with intentional faith, offering our whole lives to God—not just in moments of worship, but in how we live every day, choosing Him over the noise of the world. We want to be a generation that lives “At the Altar.”

Our youth group has seen some of our own students come to truly except Jesus Christ in their hearts, we have seen students recommit their life to Christ, and we have seen so many students come back encouraged in their faith, along with many seeds planted in the hearts of our students.
The cost of this Student Conference is $160/student, which covers the cost of the conference and lodging that STS takes care of for us. This cost does not include food money as students will need to bring separate money for their food throughout the weekend. (we recommend $40). With that said, our breakfast is provided by the hotel, and we will provide and bring our own dinners for the group.
(Tacos one night, and pulled pork the other night)
