KEYS TO THE GAME
The first thing you should do is pray.
Ask the Lord to show you areas in your life that you struggle with (eg. anxiety, pride, anger). Then select a verse that relates to that topic. There are 7 topics listed below along with some verses available to choose from to help you get started. However, there are just too many to possibly list here. Therefore, at the bottom of this section, a search link is provided called OPEN BIBLE. You can type in any topic and associated bible references will be provided. A Note of Caution: Always check the context of a verse. The context might put a very different slant on what the verse seems to say. If you are not sure, seek aid from a believer in whom you trust.
You don’t have to try “memorize,” in fact, that may add pressure to the process. Just simply read the verse(s) over and over 2 times a day for 3 minutes each.  Repetition is the key to learning. Very few people set out to memorize TV commercials, yet they are known because of the number of times viewed. Same principle applies here. The goal is to store God’s Word in your heart. It will then be available for access no matter where you are. We are also achieving an additional outcome. It’s developing a spiritual discipline in your life.
